What is RO Water Plant Antiscalant Chemical?

RO Antiscalantchemicals are used to prevent the Fouling & Scaling of the RO membrane.Scale may consist of mineral fouling such as calcium sulfate, calciumcarbonate, Calcium Magnesium, barium sulfate, silica, calcium fluoride, andstrontium sulfate. The RO Antiscalant dosing should be done before reaching theRO Membrane to break up Magnesium, sulfate precipitates, calciumcarbonate, and other mineral fouling.

ROWater Plant Antiscalant chemical is used to process scale water at very high rates of recovery. When used properly, Antiscalant Chemical extendsthe time between RO Membrane cleanings from a few weeks to years in some cases. Without Antiscalant Chemical, ro membrane systems wouldnot give longer life time for RO Membrane so that Water Plant client will getextra maintenance charges.
